What the key tasks will look like
We are looking for an experienced Customer & Digital Transformation Manager to join our Transformation team. You will join a 16-people team consisting of transformation leads, business analysts, change/lean leads, a BPM expert, a strategy manager and a transformation analyst.
Your personal focus will be twofold, whereas you will be managing a team of transformation leads (project managers), business analysts and change leads on one hand, and managing programs across our digital transformation journey, with a focus on new technologies and customer journeys on the other.

- Lead and Develop: inspire and motivate your team, align team with strategic objectives and plan for success
- Knowledge sharing: facilitate and build knowledge within and across teams
- Personal development: facilitate and guide team members to grow and improve along their careers
Overarching program management in digital transformation and implementation of new technologies
- Interdependencies and prerequisites: managing dependencies between projects and identifying prerequisites for successful project/program delivery
- Identify and Mitigate: Recognize and address risks, issues, and roadblocks
- Planning: financial, resource and delivery planning for program, aligned with corporate strategy
- Governance: implement program governance and compliance
- Communication: internal and with group (ERGO, Munich Re, ExCom and Board)
Required skills and competencies
- Education and Experience: Master’s degree in Business, Management, IT, or a related field (or equivalent in experience), with 5+ years in program/project management and a proven track record in managing (project) teams. Experience within the insurance business is a strong plus.
- Leadership and Organizational Skills: Strong leadership and people management abilities, excellent organizational skills.
- Structure and result-driven : structured way-of-working related to program follow-up and result-oriented mindset
- Methodologies and Management: Good knowledge of budgeting, resource management, risk management, and great problem-solving skills.
- Communication and Deadline Handling: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills at all levels (from operations to C-level) and in an international context, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
